Ensure the surface to which you are applying the rubber is clean and smooth.
Progressively removing the back strip to expose the adhesive as you apply.

This foam looks great and the adhesive holds up really well under temp, unlike some of your cheaper ali/ebay EVA foam alternatives. Just the right thickness for a good seal, and the three-pronged profile means that one bit of crud doesn’t ruin your seal, built-in redundancy.
