Active thermal fuse to provide additional safety for your machine.
Used as a failsafe against malfunction in heat producing elements to prevent the temperature from rising to dangerous levels and possibly starting a fire.
e.g: a faulty thermistor incorrectly reading temperature and signaling the heat producing element to continue heating past target temperature.
Made in Germany by Alpha Therm.
