   Handy little units. I was on the fence about filament sensors, but this actually makes sense with what it does. Being able to detect not just runouts but jams or extrusion issues is a really handy thing. It has saved me on a few occasions – mostly due to tangles in the filament spool or an issue with the bowden path causing under extrusion.

   It can be a little finicky to setup in the config, but I’ve had little problem with the default. Any teething issues was more due to the bowden path being too tight in a few places – so having this helped identify and fix it

   Great backup plan for when you forget to check the amount of filament remaining. Has saved a few longer prints where I wasn’t sure.
